I didn't seriously get into photography until 2001. I had been working in a One-Hour Photo Lab and thought I should see if I could do any better than what I was seeing everyday. So, I bought my first film SLR camera and soon after, I enrolled into the Photography program at SLCC. I love travel and nature photography, as that is when I get the most opportunities to shoot. I'd like to say I'm a deep thinker when it comes to how I photograph the world, but it really comes down to if what I'm seeing looks interesting, how can I convey that in my photographs.
